Held at Messe Berlin, the three-day event drew over 1,400 exhibitors, 600 global investors, and 500 speakers from more than 100 countries. The UAE stood out with an impressive delegation of over 65 organizations, including government entities, tech enterprises, and startups. This extensive representation underscored the UAE’s position as a global hub for innovation.
Alia Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, set the tone with a compelling welcome address. Highlighting the growing economic ties between the UAE and Germany, she remarked, “Berlin’s role as a global innovation capital mirrors the UAE’s dynamic trajectory. Together, we are building an economic corridor driven by innovation and shared purpose.”
The UAE tech market, already valued at $3.7 billion, is on track to reach new heights by 2025, according to data from Statista. This growth was evident across the event, where the UAE showcased advancements in public services, artificial intelligence, urban mobility, climate technology, and even space exploration.
Notable innovations featured at the event included Zeroe, a platform revolutionizing carbon management, and Hikmah Labs, which combines AI with scientific research. Other pioneering startups, like IngenioData and Responsive Drip Irrigation, highlighted the UAE’s contribution to diverse industries, from indoor navigation to sustainable agriculture.
Hazza Al Mansoori and Nora Al Matrooshi, the UAE’s celebrated astronauts, further emphasized the nation’s ambition in aerospace technology and AI applications in space. Their presence reinforced the UAE’s commitment to pushing boundaries in scientific and technological development.
The Dubai Pavilion, managed by Digital Dubai, became a key highlight of the event. Contributions from 12 leading public and private sector entities demonstrated Dubai’s forward-thinking approach to governance and civic engagement.

Meanwhile, CAFU showcased its on-demand mobile fuel delivery service, and 6Bees demonstrated its AI-driven workforce optimization technology.
Parallel to these exhibits, influential UAE leaders spoke on critical topics, from building AI-first nations to creating sustainable infrastructure. These discussions shed light on the country’s vision for a tech-driven future, with contributions from experts like Abdalla Almehrzi of the UAE Cybersecurity Council and Hamad Al Mansoori from Digital Dubai.
The UAE’s presence at GITEX Europe x Ai Everything wasn’t limited to showcasing its tech prowess. High-profile bilateral meetings were held between UAE officials and European representatives, including discussions with Berlin’s Governing Mayor Kai Wegner. These meetings reinforced partnerships in technology, innovation policy, and startup ecosystems.
Significantly, the UAE also announced the launch of Investopia Europe in Berlin, set for 2026. This marks a new chapter in fostering global economic dialogue and investment opportunities through strategic cross-border initiatives.
